Christina Castillo is the Deputy Programs  Director at HACIA. Christina focuses on leading the Programs Department alongside the Senior Director of Impact and Innovation. She provides oversight to all programs offered by HACIA while working to identify new training opportunities to offer.

Before coming to HACIA, Christina worked to assist students in defining and developing post-secondary plans. Working with predominantly minority students, Christina worked tirelessly to approach the planning process with an equity-focused lens – a practice she carries with her to HACIA as she leads the department in developing and executing new programming.

Beyond her professional life, Christina is an adventurer at heart with a love for travel and exploring new places. Whether discovering new destinations abroad or trying the coffee shop that opened around the corner, she thrives on new experiences that inspire her creativity. Christina loves to utilize these experiences when writing lyrics to her original songs on guitar and piano. In her free time, Christina enjoys staying active through indoor rock climbing and kayaking, embracing the physical challenges and excitement of these hobbies.
