Mr. Boyer is a recognized leader in high-performance integrated design and construction, responsible for several highly awarded projects across the U.S., China, Korea, India, and the U.A.E. Early in his career, Jeff played a key role in leading the competition-winning design for a world’s first net-zero energy skyscraper in 2005. He later served as the sustainable design manager for the first large-scale net-positive energy office building for the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in Abu Dhabi. Keen to bring the technology and lessons learned from his experience back to Chicago, Jeff served as lead project engineer for an ASHRAE Excellence in Engineering (Illinois Chapter) award-winning library to serve the local Chinatown community and has three additional ASHRAE awarded projects. Over the past five years with Farnsworth Group, Jeff has focused on applying his expertise in decarbonization and resilient design to the healthcare sector and data centers.
