Josh Mings

Josh is committed to providing dignified architecture for everyone through housing, championing the advancement of equity in the profession through knowledge sharing and mentoring, and providing thought leadership in the AIA Chicago chapter and beyond. Josh brings 14 years of experience with residential and community-based projects to the table and his experience in all phases of projects allows teams to create the best possible projects through teamwork, critical engagement, and consensus-building. Aggregate/Josh strives to positively impact cities, housing, and residents with dignified design, previously winning several local, state, and national awards. Josh's projects have spanned the Chicagoland area and projects in Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, New York, and other states. Josh gives back to the community and profession, serving on AIA Chicago's Board of Directors, on the AIA Chicago / City of Chicago Department of Buildings Working Group, and as co-chair of AIA Chicago's Design Knowledge community focusing on design excellence in the neighborhoods. He is heavily involved in mentoring the next generation of architects by serving on design juries, mentoring, and leading the national AIA NEXUS mentorship program. Additionally, Josh is active in the community serving on Landmarks Illinois' Skyline Council and Tulane School of Architecture's Alumni Council.
