Dr. Ahmad Hadavi holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University, an M.B.A. from the Harvard-affiliated Iran Center for Management Studies in Tehran, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on emerging technologies in construction, including the Metaverse, VR/AR/MR applications in the AEC industry, innovative construction methods, Lean Construction, and productivity improvement. He teaches Project Scheduling and Cost Engineering and Control at Northwestern University. Dr. Hadavi has provided significant professional service as an ABET Program Evaluator and NSF review panelist, and he has reviewed textbooks and academic papers for leading engineering journals. He is also active in international construction education and accreditation.
