Alejandro Stochetti
With a depth of experience designing major projects across the globe, Alejandro will partner with our teams to usher creative inspiration to new heights. Alejandro has built an impressive body of international work at all scales and typologies.
Alejandro believes that the design process is a collaborative effort and an opportunity to positively transform the environment to better serve the community. While he appreciates the lessons learned from each design process, he also believes in the opportunity to re-invent, re-imagine and go beyond what is known to achieve and set higher design standards. During his more than 20 years of experience, Alejandro has practiced design by opening windows of opportunities where they did not seem to exist. He has lectured, written, and published internationally on his sustainable design philosophy and approach with topics that include “Form Follows Performance,” “The Creation of New Typologies: The Language of Performance,” and the design vision and process for many of his buildings.
He has served as design director and team leader on projects such as the Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia, the Expo-2017 Astana in Kazakhstan, the Burj Vista in Dubai and the Energy Hall and Congress Center in Astana. Most recently, Alejandro led the Al Wasl Plaza project, the centerpiece of the Expo 2020 in Dubai that integrates the power and beauty of nature with the experience of the world’s largest 360-degree immersive projection experience. His experience includes work in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, North America and his native Argentina.
