Allen Dusault is an accomplished leader in energy program management with particular emphasis in commercial and industrial, and agricultural sectors. His background includes program startup and management, business development, energy policy and legislative initiatives as well as energy research. At Franklin he launched the start-up of Louisville Gas and Electric (LG&E) and Kentucky Utilities (KU) C&I energy efficiency program; in Toronto, Canada, it was Powerstream’s commercial energy efficiency program. He currently leads Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas energy efficiency R&D program serving the City of Chicago and northern suburbs. He has also managed two ComEd energy efficiency research projects, including a weatherization initiative for low income residents. Additionally, he has managed several DCEO EE programs, including Building Operator Certification (BOC) program, the Illinois Home Performance program (IHP), the Savings through Efficient Products (STEP) program and the Building Industry Training and Education Program.
