Andrew Elders joined Ryan’s Chicago Historic Tax Credits team in 2022.  His team, formerly known as MacRostie Historic Advisors, is a group of talented and dedicated architectural historians and HTC specialists who have successfully consulted on award-winning preservation projects such as the Lawson House YMCA, Ramova Theatre, and The Terminal, all in Chicago, and Old Copley Hospital in Aurora.  He is active in the preservation and architecture community in Illinois, lecturing and leading tours related to architectural history.  He has also served on the board of Glessner House and has been a member of the Historic Preservation Commission and its Architectural Review Committee in Oak Park.  Andrew studied historic preservation at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to entering the preservation field, he spent 15 years in the banking and finance industry.
