After spending several years practicing architecture in Chicago, Candace joined Mortenson in 2016 and is currently a senior design phase manager and healthcare market leader in our Chicago office. She works closely with our estimating team and our customers to effectively align program needs within an allocated budget. Her expertise in space planning and intricate understanding of the current state of the market allows her to bring forth a unique perspective and creative solutions that are consistently recognized by her peers.

Candace remains a registered architect with her AIA, LEED AP BD+C; EDAC certifications. Candace earned her B.S. in Technology with a major in Architecture and Environmental Design from Bowling Green State University, and her M.Arch. from the Illinois Institute of Technology. She has presented multiple times at NeoCon Chicago, Chicago Build Expo and the Building Chicago / Greening the Heartland Conference & Expo. In 2013, she was selected as one of Building Design + Construction’s 40 Under 40.
