Being a Tradeswoman has become etched into my soul. Nearly a decade ago I was a firewatch at a compressor station in the middle of a North Dakota winter and now I own and operate alongside my husband our welding and fabricating business Alpha Duo LLC. 

My passion for welding has grown exponentially. From the moment I seen my first spark to now focusing my passion to help others pursue a new found passion for this incredibly rewarding and skilled trade. 

So, how can I make a difference? How can I help change the way skilled trades are viewed? How can I show girls and women that being a pipe welder, electrician, or plumber can be attained just the same as being a lawyer, a teacher, or a nurse? They all take HARDWORK to achieve!! 

Statement:

My "HOW" is now. I want to provide a space for young girls or women who have no clue what welding is. A place for the curious to experience welding without fear of being the only female or fear of having to immediately prove herself. I want to give opportunities to the adult women who always had an interest in welding but didn't know where to start or those who weren't able to take that welding 101 class they wanted to.
