A Maryland native, Erin Miller graduated from The Johns Hopkins University with a BA in International Studies and Romance Languages. Her first introduction to the world of construction was at Lend Lease as the Senior Administrative Assistant to the Head of HR in NYC where she helped run learning and development programs, managed the Women at Lend Lease conferences and engaged in various projects concerning policy. With a move to Chicago, Erin joined the National Business Development (BD) team at Lend Lease as an Analyst developing pursuit strategies and client plans by researching, gathering and analyzing information on potential markets, clients, competitors and projects. She was then promoted to BD Manager for the Chicago office. In 2018, Erin transitioned from working in high-rise construction to commercial office interiors by joining Development Solutions, Inc. as their BD Manager and, later, Clarion Construction as their Director of BD, adding industrial renovations into the mix. Today, Erin leads Epstein Architecture, Engineering and Construction’s Business Development for their construction group, focused primarily on industrial renovations and ground-up construction.
