Mr. Boyer leads Farnsworth Group’s Commissioning and Sustainability practice in the Midwest. His experience with high performance integrated design and construction dates to 2005, driving several highly awarded international projects from concept through completion. A recognized expert in energy performance simulation and emergent technologies, Jeff now focuses his time on closing the gap between design intent and construction implementation providing whole building commissioning services: MEP and Enclosure. While early chapters of Jeff’s career were dedicated to sustainable city planning and super tall buildings, his current focus is on supporting existing and new construction Health Care Facilities, Laboratories and local municipalities through ongoing commissioning and energy performance monitoring. 

Jeff has been an integral member of project teams resulting in five ASHRAE Excellence in Engineering Awards (Illinois Chapter) and Farnsworth Group recently completed the first NBI certified Net-Zero Medical Facility in the country.
