A Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with over 16 years of experience, John has worked in several sectors within the construction industry including automotive, commercial, educational, facility management, manufacturing, and mission critical.

As Director of HS&E, John manages many aspects of safety for Walbridge, a leading U.S. construction company. He is responsible for providing all project site employees with a safe work environment through proper orientation, daily site inspection, guidance and strict adherence to OSHA/MIOSHA regulations. John ensures other applicable safety regulations, owner requirements, existing facility rules and safety procedures are applied, making sure safe work practices and conditions are maintained.

In addition, John establishes and implements job site safety procedures; oversees the implementation of an Emergency Response Plan; conducts the Project Orientation Program; implements programs for substance abuse testing and provides pre-task analysis review for all work operations. 

Throughout his career, John has been part of several diverse project teams that have successfully managed and delivered safe projects for over 35 million hours of work.

John earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Mich.
