Jose B. Rodriguez leads the sustainability team at Thornton Tomasetti’s NYC office and brings more than 15 years of experience leading, developing and directing innovative and comprehensive sustainability strategies for a broad range of facilities. His expertise includes sustainability reporting, energy efficiency analysis, green building certifications, health and wellness research and education, greenhouse gas (GHG), policy and standards, energy code analysis, water efficiency, and carbon metrics analysis. He specializes in the analysis of energy systems in new and existing buildings and the implementation of applied technologies to achieve high-performance and low carbon. Jose is past chair of the AIA Chicago COTE; former board member of AIA Chicago and AIA Illinois; and currently teaches Environmental Design at the Parsons School of Design in New York.
