Mari Bishop is an ESG & sustainability strategist with over a decade of experience leading customer and industry innovation in the Real Estate, Private Equity, State Government, and non-profit sectors. As a subject matter expert in the realms of ESG frameworks, ratings and reporting, Mari has led company-wide and portfolio-wide strategic approaches to industry alignment, benchmarking, and responsible investment which include GRESB, CDP, GRI, TCFD, SFDR, GHG inventories, CRREM, MSCI and ISS. She also has experience in developing business requirements for ESG software capability development and working with clients and experts to align data analytics with actionable opportunities to set, track, and meet sustainability and net zero targets. Prior to her current role, she was Senior Director of Environmental Social Governance at another ESG leading platform, where she grew the Customer Success department with experts in ESG strategy by three-fold performing advising, analytics, certifications, and reporting.

Mari currently heads the JLL Sustainability Data and Reporting team for the Americas. Her passion for planning and operational excellence guides her search for effective and efficient implementation across multiple business units and stakeholder groups. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Mari is also deeply committed to making positive impact by giving back to her community. She has volunteered for and chaired multiple organizations over the years, including serving as a mentor to underprivileged youth and working on social justice issues in underserved communities. She applies this same passion for leaving the world a better place than we found it into her team's work and her project inputs.
