Melissa Venoy

With more than 19 years of professional experience, Melissa has worked on a range of office, hotel, mixed use, institutional and government projects. She offers considerable experience with international assignments having worked on projects and competitions in North America, the Middle East and China. Key projects include 155 N. Wacker; a 48 story Class A office tower in downtown Chicago, Abu Dhabi Global Market Square; a five building 290,000sm complex consisting of four office towers and an international finance center, and the China Resources Wenzhou tower; a 318m mixed use tower in southern China Ms. Venoy is an Associate Principal and serves as a project architect, leading the architectural team with a focus on technical clarity, internal communication and assuring consistency in project documentation. By participating in AIA Women’s Leadership Summits, serving as an executive board member for Chicago Women in Architecture Foundation, and participating in multiple diversity panel discussions, Melissa continues to serve as a firm leader in advocating for women in the firm and the profession. Melissa is a member of the AIA and a LEED accredited professional. Melissa received a Bachelor’s of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati.
