Steve Ross has over 35 years of information technology experience in the AECO industry. In his current role as EXP’s Chief Information Officer (CIO), Steve oversees the strategy and overall technology direction for the firm’s business infrastructure as well as its design systems including Digital, BIM, Automation, and Innovation. His expertise spans the maintenance, operation, and security of public and private firms’ technological infrastructure, as well as leading implementation strategies to connect built and virtual environments. 

Steve excels at driving innovation, workflow, and collaboration across the operational engineering business lines of the organization to improve profitability. He and his team also assist its customers in the challenges of digital transformations and integration.

Prior to joining EXP Steve was CIO at Thornton Tomasetti and Schoor DePalma and has worked for Autodesk and Softdesk in the development and delivery of Industry CAD & BIM Software products.  Steve is very active in industry events for the AEC industry as is a regular speaker on Technology in the industry.
