Susan’s respect and appreciation for an efficient, creative, and productive design process make her a valued leader on each project team she leads. Since joining the firm in 1998, Susan has worked on a variety of project teams in the role of both Project Architect and Project Manager. Her knowledge and skill in design, architectural detailing and documentation, along with experience in construction administration, provide her clients with the expertise required to effectively implement all aspects of a project. Her diverse 25+ years of professional work includes a variety of project types including primarily commercial office interiors, retail design and mixed-use facilities, as well as base building educational architecture.

Susan is a community impact leader for the Gensler North Central Region. She is the co-founder of the annual Gensler-City Year pro-bono Classroom Renovation project and Gensler Firmwide Service Program. City Year began as a grassroots community outreach initiative in the Chicago office in 2010. Currently in its ninth year, the initiative has grown to five cities nationwide.
