I am a first generation Lebanese American and I am windowed with a little boy who is unbelievable and wants to be an engineer. I am on the Board of Directors of NAWIC Chapter 1 in Fort Worth and on the DE&I and Scholarship Subcommittees. I am also a board member of FFAPL, the Library Board for Arlington, TX, I chair the City of Arlington’s Mayor’s Women’s Advisory Board, on the Women United, United Way of Tarrant County Steering Committee, a member of Women Inspiring Philanthropy, VP of the OFC of The Oakridge School and on the Asian Business Council, Latino Business Council and the Women’s Business Council. I started in construction at a concrete company during college, when I graduated I worked for a home builder and after 6 months went from purchasing to the head of estimating. From that point, I decided that I preferred commercial and I’ve been in commercial since. I attended U of Kansas, UTA and A&M University. I am an ME and have undergraduate degrees in International Business and Political Science as well.
I’m currently the Vice President of Talon Industries, Inc., a Fuel Piping company Based in Arlington, Texas. My newest (ad)venture is to foray our company into water as well and expand our private sector.
My dad and brother are also in the industry and we all love it, but I must say it’s absolutely inspiring to see so many women in this industry now. It truly makes it worth it.
