As a whole-brain designer, Yong has diverse background and experience in architecture, interior design, experience design, and design strategy. Before INxD Studio, she had more than 20 years of design and strategy experience at architecture firms, including Gensler, SOM, HOK, VOA/Stantec, OKW, and Unispace. Her design and strategy works include workplace, hospitality, building repositioning, corporate campus, headquarters, healthcare, education, senior living, multi-family residential, mixed-use, and retail as well as non-profit projects.

Yong's design and strategy approach is people-first and experience-driven. Her strategic design process always starts with design research and listening to each client’s needs and vision to elevate the human experience. This leads to design strategy, concept design, and design process to solve the problem and tell each client’s unique stories through spatial storytelling.
She is passionate about creating spaces that inspire, enrich the human experience, and transform how people feel, behave, and experience space.
